Start with the work
List the roles you are equipping. A mobile sales team, office administration team and design team may need different devices. Note the applications, security requirements, accessories and when those computers are likely to need replacing.
Compare the full arrangement
You can buy devices outright or ask about monthly procurement options. Compare the total cost across the proposed term, including setup, support, repairs, replacement and end-of-life handling. A low monthly device figure does not tell you what is included.
Decide who will manage the devices
Some businesses already have an IT team and only need procurement help. Others need new-starter setup, Microsoft Intune management, updates and user support. Define those responsibilities before requesting prices so that proposals are comparable.
